Boccia National Championships
A big well done to Archie!
On Sunday 19th April, Archie competed in the first qualifying round of the Boccia England National Championships at Leisure @Cheltenham.
Competing in the BC5 classification, Archie had an incredible day on court – winning all of his matches and securing a full 15 points towards qualification for the Finals in September. His next chance to build on this success will be in Crawley in early June – we’ll all be cheering him on!
Alongside his playing career, Archie is also a self-employed Boccia coach, creating more opportunities for people across Gloucestershire to get involved in the sport. This includes a brand new session, Forest Foxes, running at GL1 every Thursday morning at 10am.If you’d like to follow Archie’s journey or find out more about getting involved in Boccia:Facebook: Archie Eaton BocciaInstagram: @archieeatonboccia
We’re incredibly proud to have Archie as part of the Chamwell community – both on reception and out on the court!
